We are a healthy and thriving association and due to good management over the years we are financially stable. At the AGM in 2024 we were asked what we did with our money and besides our usual expenditure, we the Executive, did not have an answer beyond that.

During 2025 we gave it some thought and now the B&DBA have a small fund available to help and assist clubs or individuals to undertake coaching or umpiring courses/initiatives for the good of their clubs or the bowling community.

Applicants are likely to be successful if the individual or club are contributing themselves and are members of a Club affiliated to the B&DBA.

We have just helped Bournemouth who want to support two of their members to qualify as coaches to help new members integrate into the club and grow their membership.
